South Center Lake
South Center Lake is a 835 acre lake located in the town of Center City in Chisago County, Minnesota. It is located less than 45 minutes north of downtown St. Paul. The lake has a highly developed shoreline with many lake homes. Recently, improvements have been made to the connection between North and South Center Lakes.
While South Center Lake has high fishing pressure, it does offer different fishing opportunities, including walleye, northern pike, largemouth bass, bluegill, and black crappie. Recently the black crappie numbers were at record highs. While the walleye and northern pike populations are not as that of largemouth bass, they did offer excellent sized fish.
